- Volutions Technology Inc (VTI) is a spin-off from the
Santa Cruz Operation (SCO and co-owned by Center 7)- a technology
leader in providing a unique systems management platform
for combined Linux/OSS, UNIX and Windows operating environments.
- Techna was competitively selected by SCO-C7 to become
its core development partner on enhancements, re-platforming
efforts, maintenance and support of its range of systems
management/authentication products.
- Techna is working on the following efforts with SCO-C7:
- Extending Volution Authentication Services (VAS) from
Caldera LINUX to IBM AIX 4.3 & 5L, and HP UX 11.2.
- Extending the Volution Manager product to run on both
Caldera LINUX and Red Hat Linux 8.0.
- Extensive black-box and white-box testing and QA of
all C7 products.
- Internationalization of Volution Manager.
- Technical help desk support 24/7/365 for SCO products.

- Techna’s Oracle based IBS2000 product, a comprehensive
ERP package for manufacturing SME’s is in production
at Thai Filament since ’99.
- Techna has ported the entire package to Linux with Java,
JBoss, PostgreSQL and is embarking on its first set of SME
clients in ASEAN countries.
- OpenERP is being offered in both licensed and hosted formats
in ASEAN countries with IBM (Linux Group) partnership.
- International versions of OpenERP will be available for
major European countries in 2004.
- SCM and CRM modules as well as business intelligence tools
have been added and are being beta tested now.
- In keeping with the unique economics of OpenERP, Techna
provides its clients with remote customization, maintenance,
administration, and help-desk support.
