Techna's Chief Architect : Richard VanderDrift
He has more than 25 years of software development experience at Computer Associates, Oracle, and TenFold Corporation (NASDAQ: TENF). Richard was the founding V.P. of Oracle's applications division and architected the entire suite of Oracle financials, distribution, & procurement applications. Oracle financials ranks among the most successful software applications in the world. Richard was a member of Larry Ellison's architecture committee. Subsequently, Richard was a SVP at TenFold Corporation, an enterprise software company, with oversight for all application products..ucts..

Techna helped implement one of the largest SAP installations in USA at Aera Energy (1995-99), a joint venture of Exxon, Mobil, & Royal Dutch Shell.

Techna helped the world’s largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer integrate their SAP R/3, Oracle 11i, i2 SCM, & Hyperion BI packages in a year-long effort. Later partnered with IBM Global.

Techna provided remote 24/7/365 administration of their SAP R/3 installation in California during 2000.

Techna provided remote 24/7/365 administration of their Oracle 11i installation in California during 2001.

Techna acquired a partnership license of Oracle 11i, paying Oracle half a million dollars in 1997 & has since provided numerous client services in the USA.

Similar partnership and client work with Siebel CRM.

Techna is now embarking upon a technical support service offering to SME’s with SAP R/3 installations. Most of these remote services are to be provided from Techna’s Calcutta facilities over fiber links.
 
Techna has developed a bespoke ERP on the Oracle platform for Thai Filament Textiles operations in Thailand during 1997-98. Called IBS 2000, the system has been in full production since then and is being maintained by Techna’s team
 
 
Techna has conducted a comprehensive IT strategy study for one of Europe’s largest paper and pulp companies in 2001 to help them integrate their SAP R/3 ERP system with another bespoke Informix based ERP using XML based Web Services
